Carnegie Mellon honors 149 students for their academic excellence

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, one of Qatar Foundation’s partner universities, honored 149 students for their academic excellence, during the celebration of the announcement of the Dean’s List for the semester. "Fall 2022". The honored students were selected according to their grades during the previous semester.

The list of those honored included 15 students in the first year, 48 students in the second year, 43 students in the third year and 43 students in the final year.

Michael Trick, Dean of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, congratulated the outstanding students, saying: "It is my pleasure to participate in celebrating the distinguished academic achievement of our students during the past semester. This celebration has become one of the important traditions in our university, as it gives us the opportunity to appreciate the effort and hard work of our outstanding students.". The list of honorees on the Dean’s Fall 2022 list of first-year students included: Muhammad Rayan Ahmed, Dima Al-Muhannadi, Enoch Louis Katunkan, Jana Al-Najjar, Jingxiang Zhao, Fatu Joy, Aditya Gupta, Zina Halawa, Omar Khalaf, Zansaya Matkinova, Muhammad Muhammad, and Aditya Nair, Azizjun Samandarov, Sonia Upadhyay and Yunus Xiao.

It is worth noting that Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar offers undergraduate programs in biological sciences, business administration, computer science and information systems.
