Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow did not expect transparency in the investigation into the Nord Stream explosions. He said this during a press conference after negotiations with his colleague from Burundi, Albert Shingiro.
“We are not waiting for the transparency of these investigations, nor for the general public to be aware of their results. Most likely, the case will end with something like “hiley like”,> Lavrov said.
Earlier it was reported that an unknown object found on the pipe of the Nord Stream gas pipeline in Danish waters, presumably, had been there for a long time.
The head of Denmark’s foreign ministry, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, said Copenhagen does not allow Russia to investigate the Nord Stream sabotage. Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to Denmark’s refusal to have access to the Nord Stream investigation.
