Residents of Vladimir have extended the validity of the old rights for three years

March 24, 2023

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has extended the validity of driving licenses for three years. This applies to rights that expired in 2022 or 2023.

From now on, motorists can use them shamelessly under completely legal conditions.

More than 5 million people will be able to use this “bonus”.

According to Deputy of the State Duma of the Vladimir region Igor Igoshin, work is still underway to issue electronic driving licenses. The only thing is that it’s only in test mode so far, so e-rights holders will still need to carry a full set of “live” materials with them first.
