The Adeo Group intends to transfer control of all Leroy Merlin stores in Russia to local companies. It is stated in the official announcement. Work in this direction began a few months ago.
It is worth noting that previously suspended all new Adeo investments in Russia. The transfer of control will save jobs for 45,000 employees. The sale transaction must be approved by the competent authorities.
Recall that after the start of a special military operation, many foreign brands left Russia. Other companies have taken their place. In addition, many goods are imported into the Russian Federation through parallel imports.
Recently, it became known that Turkey has started blocking the customs clearance of cargo transit to Russia. Difficulties arise when transporting goods from countries that have imposed sanctions on our country.
