Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to impose sanctions on Romanian Senator Shoshoaca

March 25, 2023

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry will impose sanctions on Romanian Senator Diana Shoshoaca as a person “creating a threat to national security”.

Yesterday, Shoshoaca presented a legislative initiative to parliament calling for the denunciation of the Romanian-Ukrainian treaty signed in 1997 and the annexation of certain former Romanian territories, now Ukrainian.

According to her, this is necessary to restore cultural identity, traditional customs and religion to one million Romanians.
