QatarDebate organizes a virtual training workshop for a number of Indonesian universities

QatarDebate Center, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, organized a virtual training workshop via video conference, entitled "Introduction to the art of debate", in collaboration with the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Gajah Mada University, Indonesia. The workshop, which was attended by 172 students from 35 Indonesian universities and lasted for three days, aimed to enhance the awareness of Indonesian students about the art of debating in Arabic according to the correct standards. The workshop began with a welcome speech by Dr. Zulfi, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Gajah Mada University, in which she praised the status of the QatarDebate Center and its important role in publishing debates in Arabic, expressing her gratitude for the center’s cooperation with Indonesian universities, and her hope to seize this golden opportunity to benefit from the expertise of the trainers. and the ability to master symmetry skills. For his part, Professor Turki Muhammad Al-Suwaidi from QatarDebate Center said: The center’s programs are diverse and characterized by continuous development and modernization, indicating that a number of programs of great importance have been presented in debate, such as: Elite Academy, International Championships, Qatar Debate Fellowship, and Partnerships. with a large number of countries. He added that the workshop included applications on debating skills in Arabic from non-Arabic speakers, and an explanation of the importance of practicing debating in life.
