The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading down

The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading today, with its general index declining by 14.33 points, to reach the level of 7014.58 points, a decrease of 0.20 percent. 87.2 million shares were traded through 7,166 cash transactions, at a value of 31 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 93.9 million US dollars). The main market index decreased by 1.66 points, to reach the level of 5517.61 points, with a decrease of 0.03 percent, through the trading of 23 million shares through 1467 cash transactions, at a value of 3.2 million dinars (about 9.6 million dollars). The first market index also decreased by 18.95 points, to reach the level of 7767.15 points, with a decrease of 0.24 percent, through the trading of 64.2 million shares through 5699 transactions, at a value of 27.8 million dinars (about 84.2 million dollars). In parallel, the (Main 50) index decreased by 2.06 points, to reach the level of 5601.40 points, with a decrease of 0.04 percent, through the trading of 21.7 million shares through 1243 cash transactions, at a value of 3 million dinars (about 9.09 million dollars).
