Freshly squeezed juice is valuable as “food” for the body. It contains not only carbohydrates, but also proteins and fats. True, not in such large numbers. But there are more than enough vitamins in the drink. A glass of orange juice contains the daily requirement of vitamin C. In addition, it contains vitamins A, E and K, which are essential for the maintenance of visual acuity, healthy nails, skin, hair and normalization of digestion.

“The juice contains potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, calcium. These nutrients stabilize the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, normalize hemoglobin levels. Another important feature of freshly squeezed orange juice is the presence of a natural adsorbent in its composition.

However, orange juice may not be beneficial for everyone. Thus, the drink is not recommended for people suffering from gastrointestinal diseases. It all depends on the high acidity of the juice.

Also, you need to remember that orange is a strong allergen. Therefore, it is not recommended to give juice to children. In addition, allergy sufferers should not drink it and pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to introduce the juice gradually and in small quantities into the diet.

Dentists can also talk about the dangers of orange juice: the drink is not very useful for tooth enamel. Therefore, it is better to drink juice through a straw.
