Accessories – a dark gray rhinestone-encrusted clutch and chunky diamond earrings – gave the dancer/actress even more sparkle. She was nominated this year for the Olivier Award for the performance “Prima Facie”, where she played several roles at once. The reward was not long in coming. Jody deservedly savored the triumph of the best actress, having received on stage that evening a bust of the famous interpreter of the role of Crassus in Spartacus (1960).
