The 10-meter air pistol competition for men was concluded today, as part of the Nishan I Want Shooting Championship and Festival, which is organized by the Qatar Shooting and Bow and Arrow Federation at the Lusail Fields Complex, under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and will continue until April 11, with the participation of More than 300 amateur shooters, both Qataris and residents. The competitions of the second day of the pistol competition were strong and exciting, and witnessed Muhammad Al-Dosari winning the first place with the highest score of 172 points, Ramzi Shaanin came in second place with 169 points, and Badr Mubarak Al-Marri came in third place with 168 points. The championship competitions will continue with a tournament accompanying the 50-meter rifle competition tomorrow (Tuesday), while the day after tomorrow (Wednesday) and next Thursday will witness the holding of the 10-meter air rifle competition for men and women, provided that the bow and arrow competition will be held on April 7 and 8 (Friday and Saturday), followed by The Shotgun Sporting competition will be held on Sunday and Monday (April 9 and 10). The curtain will come down on the championship competitions on Tuesday, April 11, with the crowning of the winners. It was a tournament and a festival "Nishan I want Ramadan shooting" Last Friday, it started with the pistol and rifle 10-meter air competitions for the junior category (from 10 to 15 years old). The championship is held in many competitions: air rifle, air pistol, shotgun (sporting), bow and arrow. The Qatar Shooting, Bow and Arrow Federation has allocated important financial prizes for the winners of the first three places, where the first place holder in the total competitions for the adult category will receive an amount of 30 thousand riyals, while the second place holder will receive 25 thousand riyals, while the third place winner will receive an amount of 20 thousand riyals. one thousand real. In the junior category, the first-place winner will receive 10,000 riyals, the second-place winner will receive 7,500 riyals, and the third-place winner will receive 5,000 riyals. The championship is witnessing the holding of many accompanying events, including a padel tournament, a beach volleyball tournament, in addition to activities for children. The goal is to hold a tournament "Nishan" Annually, it discovers young Qatari talents in shooting sports, and refines their talent to gain experience to support the ranks of the national teams.
