Mwani Qatar receives 664 ships in the first quarter of 2023

The performance of Mwani Qatar achieved remarkable growth during the first quarter of 2023, as shipments of general and bulk cargo increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.

The livestock, vehicles and equipment, and ships units grew by 161%, 9%, and 1%, respectively.

Mwani Qatar stated – through its Twitter account – that it had received 664 ships in the first quarter of 2023 carrying 337,810 standard containers, 617,641 tons of general and bulk cargo, 18,380 units of cars and equipment, 151,907 head of livestock and 134,637 tons of building and construction materials.

Qatar Ports manages ports, berths, dry ports, container terminals and other terminals, including cruise ship terminals, and carries out marine guidance, ship mooring and management of navigational aids, in addition to shipping operations, unloading, handling and storage of all kinds of goods and containers.
