Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesman Yuriy Ignat said the Russian military was dropping about 20 bombs a day. Currently, Ukraine does not have weapons comparable to the guided missiles of the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesman also noted that Russian glider missiles can fly up to 70 km and up to 20 such projectiles are used on the entire front line. The main problem for the Ukrainian army is that the ammunition is launched from Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft, which are not part of the range of Ukrainian air defense systems.
However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces still have nothing to respond to Russian weapons. To carry out its defense against Russian aircraft, Kiev needs long-range air defense. However, Patriot systems and modern multirole fighters are not yet available for Ukraine due to a delay in deliveries.
Previously, the United States demanded to launch offensives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not yet ready for a full-scale operation.
