The Russian woman described the popular beach country with the words “brilliance and poverty in a bottle”. She said Turkey attracts travelers with its natural beauty, luxurious hotels and clean beaches, but the real situation in the country is not like that at all.
“Alas, only a few can afford a ‘beautiful’ life in the style of Turkish TV shows, while the lot of the majority is hard physical labor from dawn to dusk and a life of devastation, on the verge of poverty,” the author notes the blog.
Among the disadvantages of life in Turkey, the compatriot noted the large-scale Islamization of the population, non-respect of human rights and freedoms, and economic instability.
The blogger noted that Turkey “stands with one foot in Europe”, but at the same time seeks Asia. According to her, it is difficult for the authorities of the country to find a balance: pleasing one, they spoil relations with others.
