October 3, 2025

Ukraine and Poland signed a memorandum of cooperation in the reconstruction of Ukraine and an agreement on the joint production of 125-mm tank ammunition. This is stated in a press release from the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology. The signing of the documents took place during Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Warsaw.

“The reconstruction of Ukraine is not only the reconstruction of buildings, but also the modernization of the country and the reforms that allow us to join, among other things, the European Union. Supporting reconstruction also means sharing experience and know-how,” said the Minister of Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda.

The Ukrainian side will provide Poles with information on plans and projects, including announced tenders for reconstruction. The Polish side declares its readiness to inform Kiev of Polish companies interested in participating in the restoration of Ukraine, including the supply of necessary materials and products.

As noted, more than 2,100 Polish companies applied to participate in -war reconstruction of Ukraine.

This is Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s first official trip to Poland, so far he has been there only in transit. The former Polish Deputy Defense Minister, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, believes that the Ukrainian President came to Warsaw to prepare negotiations with Moscow.
