Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Haber7: US plans to replace Turkish president with second Zelenskyy

The administration of the United States of America intends to put at the head of the Turkish head of state a president such as the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This opinion was expressed by columnist Ozgur Bayrak in an article for the Turkish edition of Haber7.

He recalled the upcoming presidential elections in the country, scheduled for May 14 this year. The author of the document noted that Washington does not need the victory of the current Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Therefore, they intend to put their own man in Ankara, as was the case in Kiev, for the ‘new blood’ to participate in the fight of the West against Russia,” the journalist said.

He pointed out that a Turkish opposition “actor” has already been selected for the role of Zelenskyy. According to Bayrak, the Turkish opposition has been tasked with taking on the role of Ukrainian president. However, to date, negotiations between American and Turkish politicians have not yielded concrete results.

Earlier, a political scientist, specialist in inter-ethnic conflicts, Yevgeny Mikhailov, said that the candidate of the opposition party, who manages to defeat Erdogan in the upcoming presidential elections in Turkey, will adhere to pro-American views. According to him, the Turkish leader is well aware that Washington is trying to bet on another person, since Erdogan is inconvenient for the United States of America.
