In Murmansk, more than two hours extinguished a fire of increased complexity

A hangar caught fire on Geroev-Severomortsev Avenue in the Arctic capital. It took 24 people and seven vehicles to put it out.

On Friday, April 7, the press service of the Department of Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Murmansk region reported on the results of the firefighting in Murmansk.

Thus, firefighters received information about a fire at 100a Geroev-Severomortsev Avenue at 1:59 p.m. Duty guards PCh-11 of the Murmansk branch of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations and PSCh-4 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Murmansk region came to the scene.

It turned out that a hangar with an area of ​​about 30 square meters was on fire. The fire was assigned an increased complexity level 1-BIS. It was possible to locate the fire at 3:00 p.m., they achieved complete victory over the fire at 4:53 p.m.

Two cars had to be evacuated from the hangar, it burned all over the area.

24 people and seven equipment took part in the extinguishing, the GDZS units worked for a whole hour.
