Mishustin: The level of AI implementation in the economy will be 50% by 2024

The level of implementation of artificial intelligence in the Russian economy will be increased to 50% by next year. This statement was made by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin. According to the Prime Minister, the artificial intelligence program is used to develop this field.

“The introduction of artificial intelligence in our economy is around 20%. It’s already a number. By 2024 there is a plan – at least 50%,” RIA Novosti quotes Mishustin.

As part of training for industry in 2022, admission to specialized universities amounted to 3.2 thousand students and teachers.

Earlier, experts at Goldman Sachs warned that the rapid spread of AI would put around 300 million people out of work. Under threat of dismissal, cleaners and attendants, and office workers, whose functionality can be automated, will also get it.
