Seven people were evacuated from a burning building in Efremov

At 5:24 a.m. on April 7, the control panel of the central fire communication station received a message about a fire in an apartment building on Lermontov Street in the city of Efremov. Firefighters and a ladder truck were dispatched to the scene to intervene on the upper floors of the building.

The fire was extinguished in six minutes. A liaison from the Gas and Smoke Protection Service using a rescue device along a staircase saved one person. Seven people were evacuated from the building, including a child. Fortunately, it was possible to do without victims.

As a result of the incident, a sofa burned down in a 3 x 6 m room, the ceiling and walls were covered in soot throughout the area. Nine people and three equipment took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the incident with the Russian Ministry of Emergencies. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
