Tula Customs continues to process violations in the area of ​​customs control after the release of goods.

According to the agency, in 2023, from January to March, 18 verification activities were carried out, which resulted in 2 criminal cases and 6 administrative offense cases. In total, more than 194 million rubles of customs duties, penalties and fines were charged, of which more than 186 million rubles were collected.

Inspections were carried out at enterprises in the Tula and Ryazan regions to identify violations of the inclusion of license fees in the customs value of goods, as well as compliance with the terms of customs procedures and the allocation of authorized economic operator status. .

Particular attention is paid to monitoring the legality of trade in tobacco products. Since the beginning of the year, 2,865 packs of cigarettes imported without stamps have been withdrawn from circulation in Tula.
