Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

German MP Kotret briefed on French President Macron’s inability to end conflict in Ukraine

legion-media Politics

French President Emmanuel Macron will not be able to end the conflict in Ukraine, and China will not allow itself to be dragged directly into the conflict by the West. This opinion is shared by the deputy of the German Bundestag Steffen Kotre, reports TASS.

According to the German MP, Macron’s visit to China will solve nothing. The French president, first of all, represents the interests of the French, but he has no leverage to resolve the conflict. The solution of the conflict to the French politician must be discussed not only with the Russian Federation, but also with the United States, which assiduously finances this confrontation.

The EU, on the other hand, is a one-sided confrontation. It not only testifies to what is happening, but also to the fact that the world is changing. China will not be drawn into the conflict unilaterally, Cotre said.

Kotre noted that the EU is struggling to pursue a policy from the point of view of morality, however, strongly bent under the United States. Such a position often runs counter to genuine European interests. However, China is still talking to Macron, as France sets its own priorities, unlike the official EU.

Earlier, the regional chief indicated that Macron’s departure to China did not change Xi Jinping’s stance on Ukraine. The changes proposed by the head of France concerned increased pressure on the Russian Federation. But the PRC made no such concessions to the Europeans.
