Everyone will be able to take part in the eighth international educational campaign and assess their level of ethnographic culture. The event will take place on both online and offline platforms from November 3-8.
The purpose of the action is to draw attention to the study of ethnography as a science, to strengthen interethnic peace and national unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
The action was first held on October 4, 2016, then 90,000 Russians took part in it, in 2021 more than 2.5 million people from all subjects of the Russian Federation and 95 countries of the world joined, in 2022 – more than four million people from 89 regions Russia and 184 countries.
In 2023, the list of dictation questions will retain the regional component, which is unique for each subject of Russia. In total, the dictation will include 20 questions for those under 16 and 30 questions for everyone else. The time to complete the test will remain the same – 45 minutes. The results of the dictation will be summarized by December 12, 2023 – the day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
