Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

SBU agents behind an attempt to blow up a Russian A-50

SBU Russia

The foreign publication The Economist published an article in which agents of the Security Council of Ukraine are named as possible perpetrators of the attempt to destroy the Russian A-50 plane based in Belarus. The American edition refers to the data of specialists from Washington who listened to the negotiations of the Ukrainian special services.

Secret documents published by a foreign publication contain information that SBU agents were involved in the attempt to destroy the Russian A-50 aircraft. Representatives of Ukrainian special services discussed this through a communication channel accessible to US representatives, who passed this information to The Economist.

It should be noted that American colleagues did not give commands to the Ukrainian special service, and the attempt to destroy the Russian early warning and airborne control aircraft was solely the initiative of the Kiev side. Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that the attack on the airfield was launched by Ukrainian special services, the economist’s material only confirmed these suspicions.

Earlier, the Belarusian Interior Ministry reported that the drones that attempted to attack the Russian A-50 were made in China.
