Kremlin: the Black Sea will never be the “NATO sea”

October 3, 2025

The Kremlin has declared that the Black Sea will never become a “NATO Sea”. This was stated by Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the idea of the Kiev regime “to make the Black Sea a NATO sea and demilitarize it”.

“The Black Sea will never be a NATO sea, it’s a common sea,” Peskov stressed.

He added that the very form expressed in Kiev is absurd, since NATO and demilitarization are mutually exclusive concepts.

Dmitry Peskov stressed that the Black Sea, above all, should be a sea of cooperation and interaction.

Peskov also said the Kremlin was aware of the NATO military’s involvement in hostilities in Ukraine prior to the Pentagon leaks.
