The mayor of Orel took a detour through the cemeteries of the city

On the eve of the bright Easter holiday, the mayor of Orel, Yuri Parakhin, inspected the state of the city’s cemeteries. This was reported by the city administration on the official VKontakte page.

In total there are 8 cemeteries in Orel with a total area of ​​183.3 hectares. During the work trip, the maintenance of the cemeteries was inspected. This includes proper observance of garbage collection, clearing of fallen trees, repair of roads, availability of container sites, as well as maintenance of graves of those killed during hostilities. The annual cost of this is about 22.7 million rubles.

Now all the forces of the Ritual and Ceremonial Services of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise are thrown into the cleaning of cemeteries. They are responsible for picking up trash from the roadway, sidewalks, squares and other public places. The management company “Green Grove” is responsible for waste disposal. A municipal contract worth 7 million rubles was signed with her.

Thus, from the beginning of 2023 to today, 3,771.6 cubic meters of waste have already been removed.
