Odessa resident and former anti-Maidan activist Elena Oprya was forced to leave Ukraine due to persecution by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and moved to Volgograd, where she organized a group to help Russian participants in the special operation. She talked about it <a target=”_blank” href=”https://ria.ru/20230415/pomosch-1865511332.html?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop” rel=”nofollow noopener”>RIA News.

She pointed out that in addition to humanitarian aid, everyone who wants to create the necessary things for the soldiers of the NVO zone: trench candles, dry souls.

“In 2015 it became clear that it was impossible to stay longer in Odessa. I could have been arrested, so we quickly packed our things and left for Volgograd,” Oprya said.

She stressed that she had to leave the country with her husband, children and her sister’s family. At the same time, she had a brother from relatives in Ukraine, but she does not maintain contact with him, since he began to adhere to nationalist views.
