Pneumonia patients freeze in the Penza KIM

April 16, 2023

People who are currently at the Regional Clinical Center for Special Medical Assistance in Penza (KIM Hospital) are complaining about the low temperature in the wards.

Patients diagnosed with pneumonia freeze due to lack of heating. The townspeople believe that it was turned off too soon, as a result, the temperature in the rooms is low. Despite the fact that the Penza authorities promised to turn off the heating in social institutions as a last resort, they did the opposite. On April 10, last Monday, the heating was turned off in residential buildings and then at KIM Hospital.

One of the patients at the Special Assistance Center complains that the elderly are shivering with cold even under the covers. How can they recover if they are constantly hypothermic? The patients are scandalized by the lack of heating and the cold in the rooms.
