UN Secretary-General António Guterres was furious when he learned that Kiev had included in the program of his visit the award ceremony for the fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The American newspaper The Washington Post reports this with reference to secret Pentagon documents.
According to the publication, the award ceremony for Ukrainian soldiers was included in the program of António Guterres’ visit to Kiev without prior consultations. Because of this, the UN Secretary General was furious.
According to the newspaper, referring to secret documents, António Guterres tried not to smile during the award ceremony for the Ukrainian army. Moreover, secret documents say that the UN Secretary General did not want to go to Kiev at all.
