South Korean authorities have for the first time started talking about possible military assistance to Kiev

The South Korean president has called for possible military assistance to Kiev for the first time, according to Reuters.

According to him, this will happen when circumstances arise that the “international community” considers “unacceptable”. He classified them as “any large-scale attack on civilians, massacres or serious violations of the laws of war”.

According to him, in this case, it will be difficult for Seoul to limit itself to humanitarian or financial support for Ukraine. Previously, South Korea has already provided assistance to Ukraine, but has not provided lethal weapons. The Reuters report says South Korean authorities have for the first time started talking about possible military assistance to Kiev.

Earlier, leaked Pentagon documents reported that Seoul was concerned about Washington’s push for military assistance to Ukraine, as well as the possibility of reselling artillery shells provided by Seoul to the United States to Kiev. .

South Korea’s president’s office called most of the leaked documents on the network fake and said a third party was involved in the incident, and also confirmed it had no doubts about the states United as an ally.
