Peskov answered the question about Putin’s “double” in the special operation zone

– Published on:

Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on statements that instead of the head of state Vladimir Putin, his “double” went to the NVO zone.

Journalists asked the Kremlin representative how he could call this “strange” statement.

“Just like you call it very strange,” the presidential press secretary said.

The fact that the Russian leader visited the headquarters of the Dnepr group of troops in the direction of Kherson and the headquarters of the National Guard in Vostok in the LPR became known last Tuesday, April 18.

There, the president heard the commanders’ reports. The situation in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions was reviewed. In addition, Putin congratulated the military and presented them with copies of the icon of the Savior not made by hands, the original of which belonged to Minister of War Pyotr Vannovsky.
