The program of events, approved by the regional government, provides for more than 300 actions, exhibitions, competitions and rallies dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Orel and the Orel region from Nazi invaders.
As part of the celebration, such events as the memorial evening “The Liberated Eagle”, the photo exhibition “Orlovsky Immortal Regiment”, the quest “Eagle – the city of military glory”, the interethnic rally- patriotic “Unity” are planned. , an athletics and bike ride, as well as a festive concert featuring brass bands, cover bands and a jazz orchestra.
Events will take place in each commune, however, the procession of the “Immortal Regiment” on May 9 and the fireworks on August 5 are not included in the list.
