Earlier, the Kyodo agency, citing a source in the Japanese government, said that the G7 countries were considering the possibility of an almost complete ban on exports to the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yasutoshi Nishimura declined to comment. He noted that this issue “concerns diplomatic negotiations”.
