Foreign policy called the upcoming problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to shells from Leopard tanks
German-made Leopard tanks, which were transferred to Ukraine from a number of European states, use different shells. This could be a serious problem for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, writes Foreign Policy.
According to the publication, eight European countries are transferring their German-made tanks to Ukraine. But these tanks fire different shells, so it will be impossible to buy shells in bulk.
Earlier, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced the transfer of more than 150 German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine. He, in turn, promised to send 31 American-made Abrams tanks to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
