The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) continues its activities for the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, amid a large turnout from the public of different nationalities and age groups, as tomorrow (Sunday) is considered the last day for the distribution of the Katara Eid, and the presentation of the play World 2030 and competitions, while the musical performance presented by the Training Institute continues. Police until the fourth day of Eid.
Mr. Salem Mabkhout Al-Marri, Director of the Public Relations and Communications Department, said in a statement today that the public is accustomed to everything that is new and beautiful from the Katara Cultural Village, and therefore the Foundation is keen to provide everything that suits the public with its various interests and groups, noting that there are musical performances that attract many of visitors, in addition to the play, competitions and feasts, which are the most important event for children.
He added: The Katara Cultural Village, with all its facilities and squares, has become a destination for families at all times, especially on holidays, where they find all means of entertainment and comfort from the beach and the hills, in addition to the various restaurants and cafes located throughout the area of the Cultural Village. times and live the festive atmosphere full of joy and happiness". For their part, a number of Katara visitors from inside Qatar and tourists expressed their happiness with the beautiful Eid atmosphere. In turn, a number of Arab and Muslim tourists explained that they chose Qatar to spend the Eid due to the activities that are presented, especially in Katara, and indicated that they had read about Katara and liked to visit it, describing at the same time that the place is very beautiful and tidy.
It is worth noting that the play World 2030 is an imaginary journey through time that takes a group of children to the past, where they learn a lesson about the importance of science and work in self-development and society. The play also instills in the hearts of young people the importance of perseverance and insistence on dreaming, and that with diligence everything becomes possible. The play ends with the great dream, which is Qatar Vision 2030, and what will be achieved in terms of sustainable development, a clean environment, and development at all levels.
It is noteworthy that the play is directed by Hanan Sadiq, written by Maha Haidar, and starring a distinguished group of artists, including Ali Al-Khalaf, Ali Al-Sharshani and Salman Salem, in addition to a group of young artists. As for the general supervision, it is for the artist Hamad Al-Rumaihi.
And at the Drama Theatre, Building 16, the play “Yananwa Celine” is being shown, as its first performance began yesterday (Friday), and the show will continue for 5 days. The play takes place within a social and comic framework, and it stars Faleh Fay, Jenny Esber, Bou Hilal, Rashid Saad, Muhammad Al-Sayegh, Fatima Al-Shorouki, Yasmine Ibrahim, Samah Al-Sayed. The work was written by Talib Al-Dous, and directed by Saad Burshid. This work comes within the framework of Eid Al-Fitr activities.
