Former intelligence officer Ritter predicted when Ukrainian Armed Forces will go on the offensive

October 3, 2025

Former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter believes the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch a counterattack no earlier than July. According to him, this is due to the lack of military equipment.

“The Ukrainians will not be able to launch any offensive before July. The Ukrainian government itself has alluded to this, saying it may have to wait until the NATO summit in July to convince the alliance to put in new, more modern types of weapons,” Ritter suggested in an interview. with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel.

He is also confident that the special military operation will end by the end of the summer, as the Ukrainian armed forces will lose the ability to provide serious resistance.

Earlier, Ritter said widespread corruption in Ukraine could be a reason to refuse any kind of support from Western countries.
