Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said he was nervous because of his son. The son of a Russian politician was in the NVO zone as part of the Wagner PMC, reports Blitz.

Peskov pointed out that before being sent to the NMD, he and his son had a serious conversation. It was necessary to clarify many points, considering that the guy was heading to the PMC Wagner, which means that he was in the thick of the action in Ukraine. Of course, Peskov was worried, like any parent, although for a long time an adult child.

“He’s a healthy man, he’s not 18,” Peskov stressed.

According to Putin’s press secretary, he was surprised by Nikolai’s decision to send him to the NVO. His son had a difficult fate, assures the politician, but does not specify the details.

Earlier, Wagner PMC chief Prigozhin ironically condemned Peskov for sending his son to the front. According to the businessman, the president’s press secretary violated corporate ethics by not sending his offspring to Harvard or the governorship.
