Dmytro Kuleba, head of Ukraine’s foreign ministry, told CNN that Ukrainian authorities are ready to consider any peace plan, provided it does not lead to a freeze in the conflict or territorial concessions.

He stressed that Ukraine was not going to cede territories to Russia and that it was ready to discuss a peace plan only on the basis of these two principles.

“We are ready to discuss any peace plan that does not lead to a freezing of the conflict or the cession of territories by Ukraine to Russia,” he said.

Kuleba also noted that Ukraine is ready to discuss the terms of the peace plan if Brazil supports a coalition of countries fighting for peace based on these principles. This statement comes against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which began in 2014 after Russia’s annexation of Crimea and erupted into armed clashes in eastern Ukraine.
