On April 29, the Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced that car owners in the country are now prohibited from using the letters “Z” and “V” on individual license plates if they are used in the context of the Russian army. operations on the territory of Ukraine.
According to the agency, the use of these letters in Cyrillic words instead of “Đ—”, “С”, “Đ’” and “Ф” is also prohibited. In addition, the ban applies to “inscriptions and images associated with the Communist and National Socialist regimes”.
If the car owner has already ordered a license plate that violates these rules, he will have to choose a different combination.
