The day before, Russian forces rammed a train at a station near Kramatorsk in the DPR’s temporarily occupied territory. Among other things, the destroyed train included about 200 tons of ammunition intended for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass. The spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about it on April 30 during a briefing, citing in the traditional operational summary information on the advance of the NMD on the eve.

The report also said that this period of time was worked very fruitfully in the direction of Donetsk. Thus, assault groups of Russian forces continued to oust enemy units from the western part of the city of Armemovsk (Bakhmut), taking control of 4 more districts of this settlement. At the same time, units of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation supported the attackers on the flanks, chaining the enemy with their actions.

At the same place, Russian artillery, air force and missile troops fired at Ukrainian Armed Forces units dug in near the villages of Bogdanovka and Artemovskoye (Khromovo). In addition, aviation carried out 4 sorties, gunners carried out 61 fire missions, and a missile attack hit the enemy’s 24th mechanized brigade at Konstantinovka, where more than 200 servicemen were destroyed and about 280 more were evacuated with injuries of varying severity. At the same time, a little to the north, near the village of Belogorovka in the LPR, the RAV warehouse of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was liquidated, and the command post of the 81st airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been affected. In total, more than 480 servicemen, foreign mercenaries and nationalists (actually one battalion), 12 AFVs, 30 vehicles, 1 D-20 howitzer and 1 Gvozdika self-propelled gun were destroyed in this direction.

In the direction of Kupyansk, artillery and aircraft attacked enemy units near a number of settlements in the Kharkiv region and the LPR. The activities of two DRGs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were severely suppressed. In total, about 85 soldiers, 2 AFVs and 3 vehicles were destroyed.

In the direction of Krasnolimansky, artillery and aircraft attacked enemy units near a number of settlements in the LPR and DPR. The total enemy losses here amount to 65 soldiers, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 3 vehicles and 2 howitzers: D – 20 and D – 30.

In the Yuzhnodonetsk (Ugledarsk) and Zaporizhzhia directions, artillery and aircraft attacked enemy units near a number of settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and the DPR. The total enemy losses in these areas amounted to about 30 servicemen, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 2 vehicles and 2 howitzers: “Msta-B” and D – 30.

In the direction of Kherson, Russian gunners destroyed more than a dozen servicemen, 1 vehicle and an enemy Msta-B howitzer. Near the village of Ponyatovka, Kherson region, an AN / TPQ – 36 counter-battery radar was destroyed.

In total, RF Armed Forces aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 82 Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery units in firing positions, personnel and equipment at 115 locations. In the area of ​​the Svessa settlement in the Sumy region, a repair point for military equipment and weapons of the 117th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit. In addition, during the reporting period, Russian air defense systems intercepted 7 rockets for MLRS HIMARS and Uragan, 4 enemy drones in the Zaporizhzhia region and the DPR.
