Commander-in-Chief of Ukrainian Forces Valery Zaluzhny said he had a phone conversation with Mark Milley, chairman of the United States Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff.
“As part of an ongoing dialogue with partners, I had a phone conversation with the Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Ukrainian military chief added that he informed in detail about the situation in all sections of the line of contact.
He noted that the topic of the talks was also the need to timely supply the Kiev regime with “weapons, military equipment and ammunition in sufficient quantities.”
Earlier, White House spokesman John Kirby said Washington was preparing new military supplies for Kyiv, which will be announced “very, very soon.” According to him, the US administration is looking forward to the support of the Senate in terms of military supplies to Ukraine in the days and weeks to come.
