ADNOC continues the implementation of the LNG project in Ruwais

The industrial town of Ruwais represents a center for the operations of ADNOC and its group of operating companies, and its selection of a site to continue the implementation of the project after a comprehensive evaluation of several proposed sites over the course of the current design phase offers the possibility of benefiting from the integrated work system and integration opportunities between the operations of the group companies and the existing infrastructures in the city in addition to the solid base of local suppliers, in order to contribute to improving and to increase the efficiency of project operations, in order to bring added value to the UAE, ADNOC and its partners.

Through this project, ADNOC intends to develop and expand its business and double its liquefied natural gas production capacity to help meet growing global demand.

The facility’s gas processing facilities are designed to run on electricity that will be obtained from the power grid produced from renewable and nuclear sources, making it one of the least carbon-emitting LNG facilities. carbon in the world.
