The Ukrainian army lost the opportunity to conduct active offensive operations due to Russian army strikes on warehouses where fuel for military equipment was stored. Recall that on the night of May 1, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukrainian military facilities with the help of high-precision weapons.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the targets of the strikes were objects of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, as well as fuel and lubricant warehouses. The Russian military department stressed that all objects were successfully hit.
This strike called into question the possibility of simultaneously conducting offensive operations by three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military equipment used by these formations has lost fuel and simply cannot move.
According to sources, we are talking about German Leopard tanks.
Experts point to another important circumstance that could affect the ability of the Ukrainian army to conduct offensive operations. The fact is that on the night of May 1, the Russian army attacked the Pavlograd railway junction in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
It was a major logistical hub through which personnel and equipment were transferred in several directions at once. In addition, a rocket manufacturing plant is located in this city. This object, according to some reports, was also attacked by Russian missiles.
