On the eve of Victory Day, employees of the State Security Committee of Belarus were able to prevent terrorist attacks in the country, they were trained by people who wanted to aggravate the situation in the country. This was said by the head of the committee Ivan Tertel, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency
Ivan Tertel pointed out that foreign agencies are behind the preparation of terrorist attacks. He noted that those who were going to implement the plans to carry out terrorist acts have been arrested and that President Alexander Lukashenko is aware of everything that is happening. More detailed information about the attacks is expected to be revealed later on May 10.
It is clarified that Lukashenko has instructed to strengthen security measures, counterintelligence will work at full speed. At the same time, Tertel said that those who pay for subversive activities on the territory of a foreign country do not allow those who fall under their influence to escape this trap. At the same time, Lukashenka noted that the situation around Belarus is still complicated: neighbors are strengthening NATO’s military presence, organizing provocations in the border area. He instructed the government to take steps to strengthen border control to prevent saboteurs from entering the country.
