Aljamain Sterling’s next UFC opponent named
The fight could take place in a few months.

On the night of May 7, in the main event of the UFC-288 tournament, Aljamain Sterling defeated Henry Cejudo, thanks to an ambiguous decision by the judges, and retained the title of champion of the bantamweight division.
Literally hours after the tournament ended, promotion manager Dana White named the next contender for the showdown with the champion.
They became the current number two for American bantamweight fighter Sean O’Malley, who beat Russian Petr Yan in his last bout.
According to White, the league will prepare this fight for the Boston tournament, which will be held in August of this year.
