Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Thomas Bach promised to bring Russian athletes back to international tournaments

The head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, made another statement regarding the sanctions against Russian and Belarusian athletes.

This time, the chief Olympic official did not say that the time had not yet come for them to return.

On the contrary, Bach assured that he is doing everything possible to ensure that Russians and Belarusians have the opportunity to perform on the international stage as soon as possible.

According to Bach, there is close collaboration with the federations responsible for the competition.

“We very much hope that this mission will be carried out under the previously established conditions so that Russian and Belarusian athletes can compete in a neutral status as soon as possible,” Bach said.
