Poland managed to transfer most of the Soviet-style weapons and military equipment it possessed to Ukraine. This is what the Russian ambassador to Warsaw, Sergei Andreev, told Izvestia.
The diplomat recalled that the Polish leadership had promised to transfer 14 MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine, and the other day it was announced that all of them had already been supplied to Kyiv. He also recalled the transfer of 14 German Leopard 2 tanks from Warsaw to Kyiv.
There is no doubt that Poland will continue to supply arms and military equipment to Ukraine, the diplomat concluded.
Earlier it was reported that Poland will supply Ukraine with 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers, Rak self-propelled mortars and Piorun air defense systems. This was announced during Volodymyr Zelensyy’s visit to Warsaw.
