Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev appreciated European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen’s statement on the negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, calling her “a gynecologist who pretends to be at the head of the European Union”. The Russian politician posted his comment on his personal Telegram channel.
Previously, von der Leyen had rejected the possibility of holding peace talks between Russia and Ukraine on an equal footing.
“It’s hard to disagree with a gynecologist posing as the EU chief. <…> Yes of course. How can there be equal negotiations with the Nazi state, which is collapsing under external control? You can only talk to owners. Or rather, only with Washington,” Medvedev wrote.
In conclusion, he added that under the current conditions, no negotiation is necessary.
