UFC top lightweight Michael Chandler has clear plans to win the title in his division.
According to the American fighter, he will meet current champion Islam Makhachev in the octagon and strip him of his belt.
But those are already plans for next year, and before the end of this year, Chandler wants to meet Irishman Conor McGregor.
The promotion promised the American this fight after Conor returned to the UFC, as he has repeatedly promised.
“First I will deal with Conor in a dominant way. I was promised this fight at the end of the year. Later I will be happy to meet Islam Makhachev to take the championship belt from him,” said Chandler confidently enough.
