Russia stepped up missile and drone attacks on Ukraine this month, mainly targeting logistics centers and infrastructure, ahead of an expected Ukrainian counterattack.

He added that the attacks included the launching of 17 missiles and 31 drones in total, and that these attacks began around 10 p.m. local time (1900 GMT) on Thursday and continued until 5 a.m. on Friday.
Officials said a number of drones and missiles hit their targets in the Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
“It was a very difficult night. The noise was loud and the enemy launched a massive attack on the region with missiles and drones. Dnipro suffered,” Serhiy Lysak, governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, said on Telegram.
He added that several homes, cars and private businesses were damaged, including a transport company and a gas station. A gas station employee was injured.
And officials in Kiev said damage was done to the roof of a shopping center, a house and a number of cars, and the Kharkiv region governor said damage was also done to a number of houses and industrial plants.
