Mortality from ischemic stroke has increased by 1 million cases per year in 30 years

Scientists from Tongji University have warned humanity that over the past three decades, deaths from stroke have increased by a million cases per year and continue to increase.

If we compare the past year 2019 and the upcoming year 2030, then the number of deaths from stroke will be from 3.29 million to 6.4 million cases. Moreover, these figures are only for stroke, but there are many other diseases in the world from which people die every minute.

“This increase in the global number of deaths from ischemic stroke, along with the projected further increase in the future, is worrying,” scientists at the Global Health Data Exchange said.

The reason for an ischemic stroke can be an unhealthy lifestyle, to which is added smoking, stress, alcohol, fast food, obesity that has appeared over time, and even diabetes mellitus. Writes about it ForPost with reference to the Express edition.
