Nutritionist Bobrovsky warned citizens in the Russian Federation that pork is the most harmful type of meat

Dietitian Andrei Bobrovsky said that the most harmful type of meat is red meat, including pork.

According to the doctor, the harmfulness of pork lies in the fact that it contains a high concentration of fats that are dangerous to health.

“The more of them, the worse the meat, because they favor the development of the disease of civilization number one – atherosclerosis,” the source said.

In addition, excessive consumption of this type of meat threatens stroke, heart attack, and circulatory disorders. However, even in red meat there is an exception that does not have such a harmful effect on our body.

The doctor said that you can eat lamb without any special risks, since it is similar in composition to fish. Lamb meat will be more useful, as “good” fats predominate in it.

“That is, the meat of a young lamb is red, but healthy in terms of fat content,” concluded doctor Bobrovsky in an interview with Sputnik radio.
